Human Resources Development (HRD) personnel collaboratively plan and provide information, training, technical assistance and/or consultation, and resources to support high student achievement. To accomplish this, HRD personnel: ¨ Support districts, schools, and individuals in meeting personnel development needs ¨ Identify and provide information regarding human development resources and promising practices ¨ Provide awareness, implementation, follow-up, and refinement level training designed to meet individual district needs ¨ Engage in district and school-level collaboration to support planning and delivery of educational services ¨ Provide relevant materials, equipment, and other resources available to stakeholders and consumers in support of state and district goal attainment The focus is on effective instructional strategies and models for children and youth who are exceptional and/or have unique needs. HRD personnel work collaboratively with Regular Education and Exceptional Student Education personnel to provide support services for this student population. HRD personnel services may include, but are not limited to: ¨ Provision of multi-level training, ¨ Facilitation of site-based Professional Study Groups ¨ Modeling of effective instructional practices ¨ Observation and consultation ¨ Coordination and/or facilitation of on-line ESE courses |
